Need Advice. Zeiss Planar 50/2 ZM Planar

So.. I'd really appreciate any sort of information you could give on this, or, advice as to what to do.

I made some... um, let us call them, "financial miscalculations." Seeing as I'm still a student I need to rectify these as soon as possible. So.. I figure the first place to start would be on my lovely, 4 week old, 900$ silver bodied zeiss...

But I can't really find it on sale anywhere.. ebay or otherwise. So I have no place to start. In all honesty I would be happy to recoup half the amount.. but of course, I'm trying to maximize the sell.

Let me know what you think? Where should I sell it? What would be a fair price? Etc.. thanks.

Heh, I also bought a Mack Warantee on the lens, 7 years, and its transfereable.. should this be considered in the final price?

Hello Rhad. Price of a Zeiss 50/2 is $600 at cameraquest.com. The optional hood is $85. Popflash.com will also have them. I think this lens sells for more other places. The performance of the lens is exemplary. I hope you are able to hang on to it and get lots of use with it. 🙂
