Watch that step!
I need some advice on some VERY VINTAGE Nikkor/Nikon M gear
ca. 1949/50 Nikon M body with 35/50 and 135 mm lenses all marked MIOJ
NIKON M BODY - M 60931xx
50 NIKKOR-H.C. - 6173xx
35 W-NIKKOR.C. - 9107xx
135 NIKKOR-Q.C. - 5238xx
The 135mm f4 lens is supposedly very very rare, what is the story on this lens?
I know condition has alot to say about things, this gear is all Ex ++/Mint Minus, some slight haze at the real element of the H.C. lens, camera works and shutter speeds seem correct.
Values? Need a collectors value price on all this, broken down piece by piece.
Thanks
Tom

The Head Bartender has some info on the M on the CC site. Maybe he can help with values?

My M5s need red dots!
I'm sure you already know that this camera exposes LESS than others when it comes to the film surface. I cannot recall exactly the dimensions, but the frame is a couple of milimeters narrower, and while this does not allow for slides to be well fitted when mounted, it will give you about 40 exposures out of a 36-exposure roll. In case you intend to buy it or sell it, the person in the end needs to know this.
Best of luck!
Best of luck!
The manual itself is probably worth a few hundred.

135 f 4
135 f 4
There were about 1300 of the 135 f4 produced .
In the number series you are inquiring about total of 300
No difference just the number .

I think the kit is a little pricey @ $3500
I would think it should be more like $2000~$2500
