I just discovered that reversed 40.5 filters lined with a little feltpush on really well on my yashicamat 124g. I wonder if the standard FED labeled push on hood(which will push on wonderfully on such a filter) would vignette.

They are scarce around here and a filter might cost the price of five 40.5 ones easily.

Besides a lot of people on the forum own soviet lenses, and might have 40.5 filters.

I have a slightly worse for wear Mamiya C3, and very happily, the filter on the 80mm lens is the same 40,5mm as the Industar on my FED. I still haven't looked for vignetting with the Industar rectangular hood, but the yellow filter got used on the tlr.

There's always Bay I to Series 5 (or 6) adapters. Series filters are really cheap-even Leitz.
That's what I did with my 124G...I have a Yellow2 filter and a Tiffen Series 6 Lens Hood on there too...it works out real nice...

Go check the web and search for an appropriate bay step-up ring for your TLR.
Though originally I was looking for a Bay III after-market hood.
What I found was a Hama Lens Hood with a Bay III to 52mm Step-Up ring for my Rolleiflex 2.8 FX.

Now for my Rolleiflex FX, I use a 52mm B+W Polarizer, ND 103 and 106. Also Heliopan Red, Yellow and Green Filters.

The filter size also works for my Nikon AI-S lenses. :)

Hope this helps

I think I paid about $6 for one recently out of a store in NoVA. I also have a Bay 1 to 49mm step up. In an emergency, just hold the filter in front of the taking lens.
