I just ordered another can of Fomapan 400 from Blanco Negro today, and noticed they have a 15% xmas discount code. http://blanconegro.com.au/

That puts 100 ft of film under $50, half what it costs at Vanbar...

(I've no affiliation with them btw)

A short note to endorse the excellent approach to customers at Blanco Negro. I ordered some 5 rolls of 35mm and 5 120 under this offer, but it didn't arrive in the post.

When I contacted Blanco Negro, and supplied the receipt, Chris was apologetic. Not only did he refund the postage but more than doubled the film I had ordered, including 3 other speeds of film for me to try. His interest in film based photography and supporting it is very evident.

That kind of customer service gets a customer for life in my book. I'm off to experiment with Foma films from 100,200 320 and 400 ASA!

I've had nothing but excellent and friendly service from Chris at Blanco Negro after johnmcd put me onto him about a year ago. So far I've only used Fomapan 200, which gives results I like a lot - developed in Fomadon LQN liquid developer (1:10 dilution), which I can also recommend. Crop from 35mm :

I have heard nothing but good things about BlancoNegro. I've dealt with Vanbar occasionally and got my last bottle of Rodinal from them but they don't miss you price wise.

I use the Fomadon version of R09 from BlancoNegro, no more need for Vanbar. I don't miss their arrogance - also they're out of the ilford 3 packs now, so no need to go there.

My last order from BlancoNegro he refunded me the excess postage without me even asking. He's always a pleasure to deal with.

Another satisfied customer here. We are lucky to have someone like him around here in Oz.

I spent one week in Chris' darkroom a few year back learning from him - what a genuinely nice and talented guy. Had the opportunity to see him at work printing for some clients. True master at what his does.
