I got myself an Olympus 35 SPn. I was able to replace the light seals and clean the lens, but I can't for the life of me remove the strap. Could anyone help me?

The strap is held together by what looks like a snap button, but it seems impossible to pry it apart. I'm not sure if this was the original strap or not, but the leather has hardened, and isn't too comfortable to wear around my neck.

Any help would be appreciated. 😀

Does the 'rivet' go through a slit rather than a hole in the strap? A lot of Olympus straps are like that. Try bending the strap double lengthways where the 'rivet' is - might be the answer.

Sorry for the late response, but here's a photo of the camera strap. Anyone recognize it? I tried snapping the button off but it seems like it's glued or something.
