Need help setting value on a 35/3.5 Summaron...

Hi, gang -

I'm getting ready to put my M mount 35/3.5 (M2 version) and hood up in the Classifieds but could use some guidance on value. What have people been seeing? Dan's price guide shows $500, mine would be less because it's in meters but I do have a hood.

Ken, feet or meters wouldn't make much of a difference, I presume. All I know is that two years ago I could buy this lens, without the hood for less than 200 euro. That would make 500 about twice the amount I would pay for the set at the moment. And the glass would need to be really clean of course.

Hi Ken, I bought my screw mount version of this lens for $200. It is an early version with no filter thread.

Your lens would be more valuable than mine because of these 2 differences and because of the lens hood.

I have this lens and paid around $500AU for it here in Sydney with no hood but in perfect condition.
