Need help with Nikon FE - Rewind knob/shaft stuck up. Door doesn't open

Picture below to show how camera is stuck.

There is a sleeve over the rewind shaft that comes off but the shaft is stuck :bang: it doesn't move up or down from this position. There is film in the camera.
