I need this part. The metal tab on the top of mine broke off.
If anyone has one in their scrap bin, please let me know and the cost.

Well OK, I only have the 35-70/4 zoom lens and not a 75-150/4.

I have no idea if the same part was used in both lenses (my mount ring is attached, so I can't see in there). Because my 35-70 is non-functional (zoom mechanism warped), I would be thrilled to give you the lens and let you find out, but postage..... If I can find time (that's the challenge!), I might pull that mount ring off and snap a photo of what's underneath. Might make postage worthwhile after all?

Very sorry I'm not of help (yet). Maybe someone else here has what you're looking for???? Anyone?

I had something of the sort happen to my Canon FL 85mm f1.8. It's a lovely old lens with beautiful imaging potential so I was loathe to bin it. I had a technician fabricate a new tab from a piece of brass stock. It was not difficult. I could have fabricated it myself but did not have the knowledge of how to dismantle and reassemble this lens and so this is what confounded me. It just involves using a fret saw, needle files and hole drill then using a propane torch to anneal the item so it can be bent in the correct location. Suitable small sheets of brass stock in various gauges are readily and cheaply available from stores catering to hobbyists who make military models, model aircraft and the like.

Sorry, lost track of this thread....

Only two new ones left -- Olympus CA114400. PM me and I'll get one of them to you.
