need Sekonic repair

can anyone recommend someone to repair a sekonic meter? basically, the button you press to take a reading is sticking. that's all i need fixed. maybe get calibrated too while it's in the shop.

Just a comment... in case Chris had an idea to drive over there. Earlier this year when I spoke with Mr. Milton's secretary, she pointed out that they use a "maildrop" address rather than a shop address. It might be best to call/write and coordinate any kind of in-person transactions.
 
yeah, Quality Light Metric. used them about 10 years ago when they were at their old location and you could actually see someone and talk to a human being. now it all seems shaky with drop boxes and voice mails.

you guys think it's all still legit and on the up-and-up over there at QLM?

I had the same feeling, Chris. I've read on the various forums that they are still reliable. For me, I ended up not sending my meter because the cost of repair was far in excess of the meter's value. I wish I could speak from experience.

Is this a digital or analog meter? A digital one should be sent to Sekonic.
 
You can call Sekonic repair here: 914-347-3300, or, you can actually download a repair order form from the Sekonic web site and send it in. I've done it. It was painless.
