So my brother gave me his Petri 7S 2.8 when he found out I collect old cameras. It included the telephoto and the wide angle attachment, and the viewfinder. I have used it and love the ergonomics and build quality, but the rangefinder seems to have slipped and is cocked at an angle; I believe it needs a good CLA.
Where do you recommend having it done?
I am in central TX.
thanks,
Rich

I would venture a guess and send it to Mark Hama. For someone who works on Yashicas and Rollies, a Petri shouldn't be too hard to do.

You might ask this guy. I like him, good service, and if you want a rangefinder he will do just that or the CLA. But he does not work on some cameras, like my battery models.

By the way, I have one like yours, it has not needed repair, but it is great with flash (all speeds good for flash) and easy to use with that meter also on top of the camera.
Some fill flash at 1/500:

very nice example of what it's able to do. Thanks for the link, I will look into it. Rich
