Neopan 1600 + Diafine Result/Experiment

Agreed, I order my Neopan there too. Even after shipping and customs it pays off.

I shoot it at EI 640 and develop in Rodinal (with *VERY* careful agitation; otherwise you get grain hell), but am also planning to shoot a test roll at EI 3200 and develop in DD-X. Someone on Pnet did it and got lovely results (click here and scroll down to the photos by "R M").

I agree, neopan 1600 in ddx works quite well, great tone and good grain. That combo has been my mainstay for the past 18 months. Though I might look seriously at this diafine business now, seeing the economy and forgiveness of it.
