Neopan 1600 & Rodinal .. Why Can't I Do This With Neopan 400?

I just ran across an image that I used to test a just acquired lens. What I don't understand is how I managed to get such detail/low grain using a high ISO film (Neopan 1600 @ EI 640), Rodinal and a zoom lens(Zeiss 100-400mm on an RX). I just can't seem to do this with Neopan 400 and my current developer TMax. Maybe it is back to Rodinal and EI: 250.

I agree that there is grain, but I've had much worse with Rodinal. I've avoided Rodinal with fast films. Recently shooting Legacy Pro 400 souped in TMax and before this I was using Xtol. I think that it is time to try Rodinal. I've not been happy with TMax, except in low contrast lighting.
