I'm also new to home development and am currently developing Neopan rated at 800 in TMax Developer and also Rodinal. I'm pleased with the results up to now, had to get used to the contrasts first though.

I start developing my own b&w a short time also. I liked a lot the look of hc-110 with HP-5+

Keep posting your results.

Thanks Joao, great pics, by the way!
I like HP5+ a lot and will try that combination after I finish my brick of Neopan 400. I'm more and more fond of Neopan 400, though. Wonderful midtones.

I've been shooting at 400 and developing 11min @ 20C. Agitation for 30 secs then two gentle inversions each minute -- standard development.thomasw_ said:GeneW: what is your routine for neopan 400 at 400 with rodinal 50+1?
I think I'll drop the ISO to 320 though to tweak out a little more shadow detail.

I've been using Neopan 400 at 400 and running it in ID-11 1:1.
Bob,
What time do you give it in ID-11 1:1?

Just don't overdevelop. Most films lose a bit of speed in Rodinal. Accept that and compensate during exposure not in development.
