Not sure about expert but addict ... yes! :p

However ... 400CN is for C41 processing (minilab) and I've never used it ... Freestyle don't sell it and I've just checked B&H and they don't stock it either.

Apparently it's readily available in England where I've read that it's actually made for Fuji by Ilford ... which means it would likely be XP2. It seems odd that this would be the case but I have read that theory on several occasions here and elsewhere. Can this be confirmed by anyone?
 
there is a flickr thread suggesting that neopan cn is virtually xp2 except with an even greater speed latitude. apparently ilford even produce this for fuji and its UK only. of course xp2 is divine. i would love to try some...wondering if any RFF UK members would like to help out! ; )

I ordered some in from Robert White in the UK; as a long-time user of Ilford's chromogenic I was very interested to see what the Fuji-branded film was like. I cannot tell it apart from XP-2 Super. This identity was confirmed to me by one who knows but cannot say so in public.

It is an odd marketing fact that the Fuji-branded film is available in XP-2's home market but not in the US. Seems very odd to me, but I'm glad to think that Ilford is making money on it too.
 
From what I've read not long after it came out is that is practically indistinguishable from XP2. I would not waste your time or pay anything extra for it.

I never heard that Ilford made it for Fuji but that Fuji created it in cooperation with Ilford.

After some research (see APUG) to confirm that it is more or less the same as XP2, I bought 10 rolls of 120 and was disappointed to find that the backing paper numbers are so faint as to be invisible in the red window of old cameras (where the exposure latitude would make it a most useful film). Apparently this is an Ilford trait that I had not previously known about as I'd only used Kodak & Fuji 120 films before.

It is coated for Fuji by Ilford.

This leaves three possibilities.

It may be the same

It may be better

It may be inferior

Why would Ilford make a better product for a rival than they sell under their own name, and why would Fuji buy an inferior film to XP2?

This rather indicates that it is probably the same...
