Interesting system. I'll keep an eye on this KS.

The best camera is one that still works!
Looks good and simple and I like the fact that it uses a minimum amount of solution to develop four sheets. It's the reason I tracked down a Patterson Orbital a while ago ... the Combi Plan I was using is a PITA. Uses way too much solution and leaks like a sieve!
Any guesses as to the end price for this?

$47 for a kit and something like $27 for shipping, from what I can tell in the comments and the 'backing options'

Wow! That's really reasonable if that's a correct estimation. They'll sell plenty at that price.

The shipping varies, in the US its $7, so the entire kit is $54.
I backed this project, with no experience in 4x5, no 4x5 camera and no 4x5 scanner. I guess I'll be looking at cameras and V700s now. Somehow I have a feeling this will end up costing me a bit more than $54...

Me too ! What are people's final word on the Travelwide 4x5 - seems like a neat package together...

Wow, I have to say, that's a good design. I'd like a 5x7 though!

The end price will be quite more, as they admit it, compared to the 74$ now. That might be a showstopper for massproduction and "selling plenty".
But it's a good initiative.
If i was in the 4x5 business i'd consider it, definitely...
(and why am i not in the 4x5 business? i dont know...)

I backed it, tough to say whether it will reach its goal but I hope it does!
...and no, I don't own anything else 4x5 related.

I'm in too, though I gotta wait till Friday.
Wish they had a $100 so that we could get two. I want one for me and another for my oldest.
I've got SS tanks and hangers for a dozen or so at a time in the dark but this sounds much more like the volume I can do. Plus I can load it in a changing bag and process in room light!

I backed it. It could be a good enough excuse for me to try LF.

It looks great! I backed it too, after having tried some alternatives in the past.
Yes it will be a good incentive to do some more LF (or even start!) as some said above...

I have the Nikor 4x5 tank, which is great, but it requires 36oz. of solution. This would be great, assuming the processing produces a good negative.

I'm concerned about washing and contamination although it may be an unfounded concern.
It sure looks like solution will get trapped behind the film in the holder.
I have the JOBO system which uses a lot of solution but also does up to 12 sheets.
This looks tempting to buy as well for smaller batches.
I'll send in a question about the concern.
