Anyone else really looking forward to this?

It looks like it has been put back a few months, but may be released in August;

One of the reasons why CHS 100 had to be discontinued in 2012 was the unavailability of the spectral sensitizer.
We have tried to match CHS 100 II as closely as possible to the old film featuring:

•a rock solid classic emulsion system which has been out there for decades
•a sensitization close the one of the old CHS 100
•a single layer emulsion
•the same base material including the option of reversal processing
•an optimized backside coating to fully prevent light piping
•a special anti halation layer between the emulsion and base for enhanced sharpness
•a full set of formats from 35mm to ULF including 120
•a state of the art cascade coating avoiding all problems associated with older CHS100 productions

The new film is manufactured in Germany and thus upgraded to our professional line.

CHS 100 II is already in production and expected to be available in first formats by August 2013*

* The company coating the film has delayed the coating schedule. June can unfortunately not be kept anymore.

Absolutely fantastic news, CHS was (and is thanks to Adox) a unique emulsion. This emulsion is one of the few thin (monodisperse) emulsions. With care it can give fantastic results.
The best news is that it will be in so many formats.

Jan if it's like the old CHS it's a wonderful sharp film that works in a wide range of developers, being a 'thin' film it works very well in surface acting developers like Rodinal.

The best part of this news is that they say they are "cascade coating". This coating technique was developed for high-speed coating lines for large volume production. If you are going to cascade coat some film, it won't be for a short-run boutique type of product.

Great news, can't wait to get some.

From ADOX Facebook page:
Heute hat der CHS 100 II die Dunkelheit der Gießstrasse erblickt. Jetzt muss er nur noch aushärten. Ab 15.8 dürfen wir ihn "anschneiden". Wir hoffen den Liefertermin "August" für die ersten Rollen halten zu können.

Today CHS 100 II saw the dark of the coating alley. Now it has to seddel and harden. After August 15th we can start cutting it up. We hope to keep "August" as a delivery date for the first rolls.

It will be fun to give it a go.
