Hello,

today I visited my uncle and by chance I saw a Folder laying around on his shelf.

It is a Franka Solida III with the Schneider-Kreuznach Radionar 80mm f/2.9.
He gave it to me for free.

Unfortunately a glass of the rangefinder window is broken and the shutter seem to have a problem as all speeds seem to open the leafs for the same amount of time (except "B"). Otherwise the camera looks not to bad:

What do you think, is it worth a repair and a decent CLA?
Do you know anyone inside the EU (including GBR) who does this service?
(I am not experienced enough to try my hand on a leaf shutter repair).

Best Regards,
Thomas

The lens on this camera is a triplet but is surprisingly good. Great central sharpness at all apertures. Edges as soft as butter but in a very attractive way.

I have the viewfinder Solida III which relies on guess the distance to focus . A CLA to mine which included sorting the shutter , loosening the very stiff focus and straightening out bent gearing cost around £60 which as much as the camera cost me. I thought it worth it . YMMV
