It seems I am more aware of New Beginnings these days, what is your observation?

Each and every morning is a new beginning.

And it helps that the leaves are starting to peek out here in Calgary.

Turned out it was my SD card reader...
Nikon D750 w/ 85mm f/1.8G and macro extension tube

And with the Petzvar 150mm and extension tube

Great stuff!!!

In spite of Card issues! Thanks!:)

Thanks Dave!

And thanks for getting me outside with the camera today. Spent a few hours doing some work around the yard and it wasn't until your message that I smacked my forehead and grabbed a camera.

LR CC is acting weird, telling me some process is being run by another application and then I have to click Retry a few times. And when I tried to do an import with the SD Reader problem it just hung and I had to force it to exit. And one of the new features, Panorama, failed on my Leica DNGs...

I love this.

Flowers, babies, how we sometimes take them for granted. Maybe I am just getting older but I seem to appreciate the simpler things more now. Like Robert's first rose of the season.

The first rose reminds me of the first rose I bought, ever, a single rose stem for my date one evening while I was in university. She became my wife soon thereafter... A new beginning. We celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary in July... Oddly it seems only days, not years.

The beautiful baby shown here cannot be equalled either as it reminds me of the same moment with our two children and then later, our four grandchildren.

I am surprised we have only one baby photo so far in this thread.
