There is a gentleman in Italy with eight, new, boxed SPs for sale for $1,500.00 each, and a discount rate if you purchase in quantity!!!!!
Wow! How great is that?
I hope they didn't get damaged when they fell off the back of the Nikon truck.
You can see his listing by going to craigslist in Toronto (www.craigslist.ca) and looking in Thursday's listings in "Photo & Video".
I love a bargain as much as the next person, but $1,500.00 is a bit much even for someone as stupid as I am.
I've offered to send the money after receiving the camera, and am hoping we have a deal.
Whatcha think?

Tom i'm in Italy and i'm selling ton's of great camera, expecially Nikon RF also mod. "one".
But obviusly i don't use crayglist and other anonymous sales channels.
I have a regular account on Ebay and makes me really angry to see that my fellow countryman, or at least someone who claims to be Italian, make so dishonest acts.

I recently spotted an add for a 1.500 Euro Nikon SP 2005 edition in Spain in "new boxed condition" (that would be a little over 2,100 USD at the current exchange rate). After contacting the seller, the camera does not appear to be available in Spain and the seller asks for a deposit through Western Union to be paid in another country. I suspect the pictures that accompany the add have been downloaded from a website and are used as bait. Buyers beware, there are more scams out there.
