Actually.. I kinda like how it looks, it's quite cute.. really! I searched for more perfex cameras, trying to find one similar that doesn't have the broken viewfinder.. and came up with this weird thing! I guess you can find some interesting items there... 😀

OMG Jano- I'm still chuckling over that last bit...

I dunno - there is ugly and there is UUUUUUGLY. You know, kind of like a french bulldog... So ugly it's cute.

I do think the screws on the front fascia are large enough though. I wouldn't have to search for one of those in the carpet for very long once I took the camera apart.

One problem I can see with this or any bakelite camera. Bakelite becomes very brittle with age. While this Perfex appears sturdy and weighs in at just over 2 1/4 pounds it may be as fragile as glass,

Ive lost pieces to a perfectly nice cocktail shaker from the 20's due to the fragility of bakelite.
