I recently went with a fairly dark Navy Blue for my Kiev 4a; that's considerably tamer but I can still see this working quite well. Is this from Aki or Camera Leather?

Maybe not that light - I personally prefer the darker skins on RFs. Not to say that this isn't eye-catching... it just seems more suited to a collector's camera not a user's. Mind you if you wanted eye contact in your photos.... 🙂

I would go for that. I love bright color. But, I have to see it on a Zeiss Ikon first.

I think it would be very nice on a silver ZI but perhaps not so nice on a black one.

Call me a conservative, but that color just seems yucky to me 🙂

Now, a burgundy red or some other (darker) red or brown - that's another matter.

BTW, I just recovered (yet another) Kiev 4A that I got recently with real leather. I went for black, for a change 😉

Just this morning I went scouting on a local flea market, hoping to find a nice burgundy red leather purse - but no luck. I got a black leather one, though... I was hoping to try something different on a next Kiev.

But that blue is... yech!

Basic black leather Luigi half-case on my chrome ZI. It looks and feels like a piece of art itself. Now I only wish my photos did too.

I was thinking about Granite on my Silver ZM.
I have it on my Black Chrome M7, but the Black chrome is now dark grey from wear and use, so it looks pretty good. Is your ZM Black or chrome?

i'm not exactly the shy type...today i was out shooting and i was wearing an oversized red t-shirt that said, 'large and in charge' on it.
