Basic black leather Luigi half-case on my chrome ZI. It looks and feels like a piece of art itself. Now I only wish my photos did too.

i have a luigi half case and it is some nice, but i use only use it in the winter to help keep my hands from the cold metal.

i was wearing an oversized red t-shirt that said, 'large and in charge' on it.

I'm dyslexic and what I saw was " large and chargin' " I flinched and ducked for cover needlessly. 😀

About the color... I like them all. The brighter blue is quite distinctive.

The blue might be tad on the bright side, but it looks gorgeous to me. But having my M2 redone like that... dunno. It now has a nice patina over it. Maybe later,

I love bright blue and chrome together. Someone posted a picture of their a la carte M7 in another thread and I fell in love. Go for it!

I'm pretty sure the camera I'm thinking of was an M7 with a MP top. I could be wrong though.

If you get one of the camera leather kits, let me know how the recovering of the ZI goes. I'm thinking about getting a regular black one.

i have recovered a nikon s2 and a leica m3, both were pretty easy. i'm guessing that the zi would be easier, it's a simpler layout and the glue won't be 50 years old.

I was at my local camera store last weekend and the Leica rep was there. He had his ala carte chrome M7 with a baby blue cover. Normally, I do not like bright colors but this was really beautiful.

I have also thought of getting a new cover on my ZI from Cameraleather. The original cover is awful, I want some nice leather. I haven't decided the color yet but I'm between Cobalt, Cardinal Red and Spring Green.
