I'm not sure how much of a noticeable benefit rangefinder coupling would be for me, as I tend mostly to hyperfocal even my 21mm lenses that do couple (biasing the set point if the main subject falls much closer or farther from the hyperfocal distance).

I think the RF coupling is probably most beneficial to digital RF users.

Mostly I use the M8 these days. I rarely ever rangefinder focused the 21 on the film M, and the 15 has the same angle of view on the M8.
