I think this has a rangefinder. Its fixed, 90 degree field-of-view lens is set at f 2.0 .

Best of all there is "No visible lens distortion".

No chimping as well.

All this for just $299!

Don't get too excited just yet.

There is only one control – the shutter button (which is big and red).

It looks to me like everything is shot at f2 using the flash. The shutter speed is not disclosed.

It generates 640x480 pixel jpegs.

The fine print says it's a rectilinear lens so there is no "fish-eye" distortion, thus the "No visible lens distortion" tag line.

When I did real estate photography (before the digital era) I would borrow my friend's Ford F350. The bed was very high. I would climb onto the bed, put the camera on a tripod, and take a picture of the house from a very fresh angle. Agents loved the shots. I used either a Minolta Maxxum 7000 with the 24mm lens or a Pentax Spotmatic with the 28mm lens. Both did the job.

that thing is a complete rip off, 640x480 resolution....come on....

Actually, I just realized it can not have a rangefinder, it just has a finder.

This should be in the P&S group.

My bad 🙁

Well, that sure is a recipe for perfectly exposed pictures, isn't it? 😱

Why didn't I think of that before I shelled out 450 euros for an SB800 that can tilt, swivel and bounce? 😕
