New epson software R-D1x

does anybody know if its possible to use new version of EPSON Photolier that was released for R-D1x in English? I just managed to download it from Epson Japan website but after installing it its in Japanese and I was wondering if somebody can walk me through changing the language to English.

Figured it out. all i had to do was rename localizeBatch.def to localizeBatch.def.bad and program started in English.

What's different about the R-D1x software vs. the R-D1s version?

Not sure. I was only able to find Epson RAW software on USA website but I found EPSON Photolier on japanese site. so far I have been working in lightroom and haven't used either epson software. will try it tonight when i get home.

Any luck with the new Rd-1 software. So far I have had the best results with Adobe Camera Raw but I am always looking for something new.

Have found no functional difference between Photoraw and Photolier. Photoraw is V. 1.3.0, Photolier is V. 1.3.1.

Yep same here. they look identical except for name and version number. Software itself is very good at processing files but sucks at everything else. I guess i'll need to figure out how to integrate it into my lightroom workflow.
