What's not to like about an 80 year old Leica II. Simple, with nothing more than 6 shutter speeds, rangefinder focusing and your choice of LTM lens.

Really really love the Canon 50mm - it pairs wonderfully - with the silky smooth Leica II - I have a fair number of old cameras but wow, a well running Barnack is tough to beat🙂

This camera and Primo JR 127 were my GO- TO during 2020 -
Shot something like 10 rolls...

Yesterday, I bought a '35 Leica III over-hauled by Y. Ye🙂 New buddy for the II...

Cassel, from someone that only shoots B&W I must say the color in your shots looks fantastic and the Black and White shots also are looking great. I think the camera found the right person. Looks like I need to get my lll out and see what I can do

Just received the Leica III I mentioned a few posts ago from Blue Moon Camera in Portland OR. It's the nicest Barnack I've ever seen😱 Like brand-new! Not sure how it can be from 1935...time capsule material. Recently CLA'd by Youxin Ye as well!

It is really quite interesting to do a side by side comparison with the Leica II - all the subtle differences. I will post some pictures soon.

This camera is rougher in operation than the other two - but everything works! Needs a CLA to be smoother...
