A 95mm on 6x9 is indeed more "normal" than "wide".

Wide as in the wider of two Instax film formats I suspect. The 95mm lens on what is effectively 6x9 (or a tad bigger), equals more or less a normal to semi-wide focal length. 105mm would be normal.

I don't see how see how this differs from the Instax 210. Both have the same picture size, same 95mm lens, seem to be the same everything. Maybe I am missing something?!

It does appear to be a restyling of the 210. Sounds like they moved the focus range selector from a button to a lens ring, and the rest is cosmetic.

The styling looks designed to make it look less bulky although it's only 1cm less in width, and a few mm taller than the 210.

The biggest difference is probably that it has a proper optical finder instead of a clear plastic window like the 210 has.
