Just picked up a pristine condition Leica 35/3.5 summaron. Not a fast lens but it should do the trick and the price was right!
The lens came with goggles that converts the 50mm frame lines into 35mm. The goggles also allow close focusing down to about two feet!
I'll post some pics taken wit it when I develop them.
Here are a few of the lens mounted on my M3!

...and seen here with mounting dot (red) still intact. Lens dates to 1960 which is the last year this was made, my M3 dates to 1959 so they are a good match!
 
Todd, I have the screw mount version of the Summaron. The lens elements were fogged when I got it - for an excellent price also - so I took it apart and cleaned it. It takes an excellent picture as the one below (Leica IIIc & 35mm f/3.5 Summaron) illustrates.

Great, can't wait to develop my negs. Nice, If my shots turn out as good as yours with the summaron I'll be a happy man!

The screw mount version of the Summaron F3.5 that I have surprised the h-ll out of me. It gives excellent performance so you should get good results with yours. Did I mention tiny too? Nice rig.

Yes I remember those Summaron shots Nikon Bob is talking about, very nice indeed ! And the 'professor' M3 looks nice too ! :D

I've been looking at one (not goggleed)at a store in town. I can get it for $250. I can't decide if I want it or a CV 35/2.5 classic. I think the CV lens would probably out perform the Summaron.
 
Steve, take your camera to the store and ask if you can use the Summaron to take a few shots. If you're a customer there, they should happily oblige and you can check out the performance before making a decision. If the lens is in excellent condition, $250 is a good price as they go for up to $300 according to what I've observed.

However, if you think you need the extra speed that f/2.5 provides then you only have one choice.

When I saw this one I also thought about the CV 35/2.5 pancake II, which looks to be a really nice performer, but I'm a sucker for a clean looking classic lens! The pancake would have been faster but I noticed with my 35 summicron I had that I liked to shoot it at smaller apetures anyway and the ability to focus down to 2' should be interesting. Thanks for the comments!
