Hi all, I just got a nice clean GSN and need to get a battery. I've figured out I need a PX-32a and wondered into Penn camera nad they told me they arn't made any more
... What are you guys and gals sticking in these things and where do you find them? Thanks, John

I'm using a Radio Shack 4LR44 (with a little wad of aluminum foil as a spacer).. works like a charm.. it also requires wrapping a little cardboard around it to keep it snug.. I think I just cut up a film box and wrapped one layer around the battery

A 4SR44 works too. It's the silver-oxide version of the 4LR44, supposed to keep it up for longer time but a bit more expensive. Mine works since more than a year. Same size adjustment needed as JoeFriday says.

It runs well with any 6V battery. Use a spring and some cardboard to fill the spaces.

Thanks all. I did the cardboard and aluminum foil trick as a test. It works fine. I will look for a good spring to replace the foil but I'm quite happy
now. Thanks again....
