B&W peel apart pack film?

With so much scanning by digital cameras these days and less optical printing, an Ilford, Scala like, B&W transparency optimized film and chemistry kit should do well.

maybe a black and white true ISO 800 fine grain film to replace Fuji 1600--which I still miss.

Or maybe a true 6400 with the finest of grain?

Based on the colors used, how about an retro orthochromatic film and an IR B&W film? (neither likely, especially the ortho)

Ilford has a fairly comprehensive lineup at the moment, if I were to take a guess I would say its maybe a faster (800 1600) traditional grained film. Maybe even some True IR film with a wider IR sensitivity than SFX. Other than that I have no clue what it could actually be.

ISO 800 with normal contrast, rather than designed to be pushed, would be interesting to me. As would be a a black and white film with inherently limited density so highlights will never block completely, like with C41 films, that could be marketed to beginners and street photographers.maybe a black and white true ISO 800 fine grain film to replace Fuji 1600--which I still miss.

There is little need for high speed sheet film so I am going to guess the other way - a new formula iso 50 film.

What ever it is: it is good news. The more films to choose from the better.

It will be three different products. And latest news is that one of these products is a new, improved Multigrade V RC paper.
Very good news!

I've seen the results from one photographer testing it. It's superb.

Agreed. Neopan 1600 was fantastic at EI 800.

I'd love that for street.

My guess would be a native ISO 800 and some instant b&w film. Instant is where all the money is and maybe they want to chip away from Fuji's Instax film dominance?
