I am pleased to see that Ilford continues to offer new products. As a newcomer to darkroom printing, RC paper is my go-to. Portfolio weight is much nicer than the standard weight.
Too bad they won't have the postcard printed back available on 4x6" size, but as the announcement says, you can just copy the template.

As a longtime user of Multigrade fiber based papers, I am interested to see how the new paper looks and feels. At present, I use the RC variety for contact sheets and reserve the fiber paper for my "real" photos. But, I'll buy a small quantity of the new paper just to check it out.

I bought some and printed this weekend. The extra weight is nice. Still doesn't beat the surface quality of a Fiber print though.

Where did you find some at? I haven’t seen this new paper anywhere yet.

Wow, at $129 (for RC) that's $20 more per box than fiberbased Ilford Classic!
