New Impossible color film ... Anyone else trying it?

I picked up three packs of the beta quality color 2.0 film for SX-70 from Impossible several,weeks ago, and just had time to load one and try two exposures yesterday. It's much less light sensitive at eject time, shows an image in process quite a bit faster, and Wow! Much sharper and more accurate color!

Anyone else tried it yet?

If this is where IP is going with their film development, I'm delighted. 🙂

Just got three packs of the new 2.0 stuff (SX-70) in the mail yesterday. I should be trying it out this weekend. I'll be photographing a model in a red dress. i'm curious how the pics will look.

Sorry if this is an ignorant question - will this stuff load in a Polaroid back for a mamiya MF camera, or are we talking totally different worlds?

Different worlds. Impossible is making integral films for Polaroid SX-70 and 600 type cameras.

A Polaroid back requires peel-apart film, also known as pack film. The only such film is Fuji FP-100c. No one else is working on reviving this film, so FP-100c is probably the only pack film we will ever have. It will go away eventually.

Thanks Vince! Now I remember - the last time I used pack film was as a TA in undergrad physics lab ...
Now that I have a mamiya MF , I've thought of trying it. I am surprised to see ISO 3000 b&w at b and h.

By all reports, Fuji has discontinued production on FP3000b film but there are still stocks in the distribution channels. I have about 20 packs of it left, and a modified Polaroid Land 350 camera and Hasselblad back to use it in.

I might end up offering it for sale, as I'm concentrating on the SX-70/600/Spectra series cameras.

Polaroid SX-70 :: Impossible Project SX-70 Color 2.8 Beta film​

A gal doing caricatures. SX-70 Color 2.0 beta. I ran it through PS to eliminate a slight yellowish cast the film seems to have.
