Members were younger when they initially joined RFF. Perhaps the question should be why are there not more new members. Maybe younger people are on social media instead.

If you consider 56-62 and 63-69 to be the middle.

Something my poll doesn't accurately measure is the age distribution of people interested in, or practicing, photography. Instead, it measures the age distribution of people who want to talk about photography online; and more specifically, want to do it on RFF. I expect that there are more young photographers than the poll reflects, but they spend their computer time on other things, such as social media and games. Or else they are busy dating, raising families, working, and taking pictures!
