New instant camera from Lomo

I like the photos!
Thanks Eirik!

I wonder why don't they make the lens mount removable.
Then we can put old folder lenses which already have shutter, and aperture, and some of these actually have nice glass on them.

Impossible Project is like the Lomographic Society not like LOMO the latter being a manufacturer of amongst other things optics for Satellites and Movie cameras. LS and IP are connected to a large extent so I was wondering why they didn't choose the IP film which seems to have gotten a lot better and is quiet usable at least the last patch seems to be up to snuff.

Fuji is just too realistic and too good always felt this way even when Polaroid still made instant film Fuji just lacked the Atomic Sky and some other idiosyncrasies that the original Polaroid film had and Fuji lacked.

Maybe the LS will make a camera for the IP film I really really hope so.

The widely available Impossible integral film. I'd much rather pay the extra to Impossible who are passionate about their film line than to Fuji who are, at best, unreliable, when it comes to film.

Lomography and Impossible Project are related companies, both started by the same guy (Florian Kaps), so I'm sure that any product decisions at Lomography are made with Impossible in mind.

Impossible are coming out with their own branded instant cameras, so presumably Lomo and Impossible are trying not to trod on each other's markets.

Vince, that is not correct.
Lomography was not founded by Florian Kaps.
He worked there as a manager for some years, that's all.
Then he founded Impossible together with some other investors.
But he left Impossible two years ago. He is now running a local shop for analogue goods (photography and music) in Vienna.

Lomography and Impossible Project are two completely separated and different companies.

Lomography is building their products on Fuji Instax film because
- Instax is much much more popular than the Impossible films: The market share for Impossible films is less than 5% of the whole global instant film market
- Fuji has invested much in their Instax line recently, Lomo is relying on the market leader
- the Instax films are better and cheaper.
