Got this very nice Iskra from OKVintageCamera today...

^ The lens on those are as good as it gets , keeping them light tight can be fun .
I miss mine 'çuz it felt so substantial in the hand . Enjoy it , Regards,Peter
ps; some where in my gallery is a picture of it's last day .
 
I miss mine ... wonderful camera but apparently they are known for having frame spacing issues. Mine was reasonable in that department and yes it did develop a light leak eventually.

They are special ... I hope you enjoy it. :)
 
If you take the back off and look at the left and right sides of the body, you can see 'seams' where the metal parts meet. Light can leak in through these seams if the leatherette is loose - or at least thats what I had happen.



I solved it by putting some thick black tape on the inside of the body along the seams. There was enough room that it didn't touch the film and it did was enough to make it light-tight again.
 
Oh, they made such good looking cameras. Have not had the pleasure yet of owning an Iskra, but it's on the procurement list.
