I just posted a few Katrina images in my gallery that I thought some of you might like to see. I just returned from New Orlean and shot a number of rolls in the lower 9th ward. I was only about a quarter mile from the breach in the levy. You can see from the images what the unbelievable power of the storm and water did to this area. The images are very typical of what i saw in an area that covered many square miles. Most homes in this area were totally destroyed but a few remained like the one on top of the suv.

More to come.

Technical info - Leica MP, 21 Elmarit, 35 CV Nokton, 50 asph Summilux, 75 Summilux and 90 asph Summicron -- Delta 100 Ilford HC dev. All images scanned on my Fuji Finescan 5000 and dodged and burned in PS 9 as I would if enlarged in the darkroom.

You're good.

I only say that a couple of times a year, maybe, so it's worth more than it might appear.

Excellent shots. Reminds me of when the Perfect Storm rolled through Cape Ann (north of Boston), and I saw several houses washed into the ocean. But I dont remember them ending up on top of trucks. Mucho gracias
