I've used Kinoptic lenses in Arri mount for 35 and 16mm. they're excellent but costly. One of the exotics i used was a 5.7mm non fisheye for 16mm. Big and stunning performance. I think they have been making lenses for alpa for many years.
My guess is the lens was re-make up in somewhere like in Japan. The Kinoptic regardless how people praise them, it just like an ugly exotic animal, it is rare, ugly and pricy. The whirly shaped highlight OFF areas just like Summitar 50/2.
there is an E#ay seller in Poland that sells cobbled up lenses like a Cooke or a Dallmeyer on Leica or FSU focus sections.
this looks much better though ,than this guy's offerings.
