New Leica in approach...

Hello all

I have bought another Leica, IIIc model with the serial number 382915, according to my lists is is from 1941/42. Now should this be a red curtain one? Currently is has black curtains installed. I will post pictures when it arrives.

The #382xxx series was Leica IIIC "wartiime" body *style 2*
(Leitz made two different style IIIC bodies during WW2 in 5 variations)

It should have the new shutter release collar and the slow speed dial lock button

I don`t have a positive date on this one but, I would say mid 1942 ca.

This camera did`nt have the Red Cloth shutter material as the earlier bodies did
