New Leica T (Type 701) Camera Soon? First Images?

The "innovations" ( 🙄 ) at Leica continue apace.

In their by-God determination to run away from the past (that would be the M camera design that propelled the red dot to its legendary greatness), the redoubtable gents at the helm in Solms have IMHO labored to - and unfortunately succeeded in - dropping yet another digital turd into the punch bowl of the photographic world.

JMHO, but this camera is a Leica In Name Only.

That mock-up is about as fake as fake gets. I mean, they couldn't even align that Panasonic lens correctly to match the perspective of the camera body. Poorly done.
