So, I bought myself an M6 classic about a month ago. Only lens I had was a CV Nokton 40 1.4 SC. While I have enjoyed the lens, was really feeling like I needed to get back to a 35/50 kit. So, made that happen. (Not sure what I'm doing with the Nokton yet).

Lens #1:
Canon LTM 50mm f/1.4 - bought from kevincameras via eBay "make an offer". think I did ok.

Lens #2:
Leica Canada Summicron-M 35mm f/2 Version 4 with hood. bought in person at newtonville camera

I'm hoping this configuration works for me for a while, esp since I can also use these on my E-P1.

Not sure if it's psychological or not, but it seems that the Summicron is much easier to focus and deal with on the E-P1 versus the Nokton. Wouldn't have necessarily expected that.

Anyway, looking forward to some downtime over T'giving to give these guys a workout.

beatiful kit...I have leica for 50mm and CV for 35mm...I like 35/50 setup too...I also have canon 50mm 1.2 for low light conditions...I would definitely love to have leica 35mm 🙂 Enjoy and post your images here...

Great lens the 35 Summicron. The hood stays on nearly all the time, but if I go to a dinner or other indoor function where the lighting is invariably low and lights interfering despite the hood, I do without it and it's a very compact well balanced set up. Fits over the shoulder under a jacket and very discreet. When I email someone a picture of them they're often amazed that I had a camera there: "How do you get that out of focus look with your iPhone?..."
