Hello, my name is Jeroen Schokker. I am a new m6 user at RFf. I bought my m6 and 35mm lens just one week ago. I started digital, went the same route like many people here and chose the traditional (quality)proces of film. Used b&w film in combination with a Pentax Spotmatic for about two years. Documentary photography is where I want to develop myself in. Well I hope I can contribute to some posts and I hope I can learn a lot from all your discussions. Here is a picture of my new precision tool ;-) Body: m6 Lens: Summicron 35mm

Welcome to the forum Jeroen! :) I used to use a Pentax Spotmatic too but that is a very nice looking new kit you have there. When you get round to posting new photos in the gallery here place a link to the gallery in your signature then we'll know you have pics we can look at.

Welcome to RFF,

And you have an excellent start. Your M6 and 35mm summicron make a great combination.

Best regards,

Bob

Jeroen,

Welcome to perhaps one of the most wonderful forums on the net. This is a wonder mix of pros, semi-pros, up-and-comers, newbies, and well, more experienced folks.

While some times it may seem that we drag people into talks about which this or that, the information is second to none, the opinions are world class and the people are great. Do not worry that you do not have every lens ever made, you have great camera lens combo and please consume mass quantities, but of film (cone head reference from Saturday Night Live).

Share your shots, ask questions, and enjoy.

Again, welcome.

Hey, Jeroen: what a beauty! She actually looks just like mine, except that mine's all black...

Perhaps next time we find ourselves serendipitously sitting across from each other on a train, we can compare M6's! :)

Welcome and congrats Jeroen (Dutch?).

I must warn you, as you have begun to walk the very slippery slope of buying Leica. You will probably want crave for more. :D Trust me, my wive and my wallet know...

Welkom, being new on this site (like me) you will learn that this crazy club's hart is in the right place.
Maybe the human touch is the rangefinders secret.
