The one on the top is the neoprene case. It provides good protection but it has to be taken completely off the camera for use. It can dangle from its loop, or just get shoved in your bag. It costs around $50, and other than the Leica script pressed into the front, is about the same quality as an Optech or Zing case. I have one of the latter I picked up for $5 at a camera store junk bin and had lying around, it so happened to fit my M8 (in the words of Ace Ventura) like a glove.
The one on the bottom is leather and IMHO from having tried one on, should get some kind of award for being the most awkward neverready case ever made. Worst of all with the the back flap down, there's very little case left to protect the camera, and what there is, wiggles, actually reducing the sureness of your grip on the camera. For the price (over $200) of the Leica case, a Luigi full case for $350 is far better in every way.
