Vuescan does not have it on the supported scanners list.
Vuescan does not support most Pacific Image scanners with a Linux OS.

It's not all about sheer quality.
Automation is also important if you want ALL your pictures scanned.
I really would like a new scanner to be able to eat a full roll of 36...
Till then, the only contender is the V700 with its 24 frames ability which is not bad at all.

You could find an old imacon flextight for €1500. I'd prefer that to the new reflecta anyday.

Very interesting, I am waiting for user reviews. In truth, I am equipped with both a V700 and Coolscan 5000. But V700 is still a pain, even with the betterscanning holders it takes hours to scan a couple of rolls of 6x7s. So I don't scan b&w MF film anymore, it is easier to make a real contact sheet, print and then scan the prints. But if this thing could eat the whole roll, I would consider going back to scanning the film first. I would also shoot more color MF film with it.

That's a pity, apparently there is only a proprietary driver for Win and Mac.Vuescan does not have it on the supported scanners list.

Thanks God, this scanner is a re-badged Reflecta, not a Pacific thing...

Good point: this scanner will work on modern OS's, and Reflecta have not stopped their operations like Nikon and Minolta have..
Very likely also is that Silverfast, another german company, will issue a version of their software for this scanner. I would expect it.
