Hi all,
My first post and I'm hoping you all could help. I've ventured into MF by purchasing a Moskva 5, which I really like. However, I think I may have a light leak but don't really know where to look. Does this look like its coming from the red window in the back? or maybe around the back cover itself? Since I'm only shooting 6x6, I taped over the 6x9 window thinking that would help but I guess that wasn't the problem. I would say that about a 1/3 of the pix in a roll will have a blob in the top left quadrant although the shape of the blob really varies.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tony

i'll try again, (from my last attempt to post)
forcing my sleepy eyes to stay open hehe
try shinning a torch through the open back into the bellows and see if you can see a leak in the bellows. possibly near the body on the right

Thanks for the replies. I've shined a light from the inside and outside and could not see any leaks.
However, I think I may have found it. I put the back on without the pressure plate, put a light behind the back, set the shutter speed to B and clicked. Looking into the lens I could see a small light to the right (the right if I was looking from the back of the camera) near the bottom. By moving my hand around I discovered that my leak was through the gap where the sliding thing is below the 6x9 window. It turns out that there is a hole, that looks to be original, in the flat plate that slides to block out the 6x9 window. I've taped it up and it looks light tight looking through the front lens. I'll give it another go tomorrow and see.
Thanks again for the replies.
