I just picked up a new OM2 black body and it is interesting to note the following:
1) The factory must have test mounted a lens on all new cameras as you can just see the faintest signs that a lens has been mounted. This is the same for all the new OM bodies that I have (OM1 thru OM4).
2) The original batteries are intact (after 30+ years) without leaking. I have 4 new bodies with the original batteries all without leakages.
3) When did Olympus start putting a film pressure plate protector in new cameras (OM2N ownwards I suspect).
4) Was the flash shoe socket protection plug standard with a new camera or an optional extra (Most of my new ones (OM1N onwards) have it).
5) New OM bodies from OM2N have not shown any deterioration in the film back seals. Did they change the material or is it just age.
6) Was the hot shoe included with all bodies or was it an extra.

That protector card is to replicate film for shutter testing. They came on OM -2 but I don't know about any other models.

The cards are very rare now since most people threw them away.

I bought a new in the box OM-2n for a great price. It was unused and unmarked but the pressure plate card was gone.

At least with the 2 OM-1's that I bought new in the 1970s, the flash shoe was extra and even when included in the kit the socket plug was on the camera. I have only one original socket plug.

The seals were the same material for all models (in my limited experience)
