There are a handful of new shots taken with the Bessa R and CV21/f4 in my gallery...just showing my progress with the developing method I'm using...

Don, they're very interesting shots to me... Somehow I'd never even thought of using my 21/4 for black and white, and especially not when aiming for such a classic, warm tone. Yet the effect seems entirely natural. I suppose in the back of my mind I pigeonholed the 21/4 as an entirely "modern" lens, and never thought of using anything wider than 35 for such a look. The Rodinal produces a very nice effect and probably balances the contrast of the lens.

Glad ya liked 'em, Michael. I've only had the lens for a couple weeks, and am still testing it's abilities. I haven't used it at all for color yet, but expect to do so while on a cruise in a couple weeks. Frankly, I identify this camera (the Bessa R) as a black-and-white machine, and try really hard to look for form, texture, and tonal values while using it. The experiment continues...

Regards!
