Hey guys,

did anybody actually test the new Plustek Opticfilm 7600 already?

Well, so far I saw only one test. In the German "FotoHits" magazine, which just said that it is a very nice scanner. 🙄 No real valuable information.

a few months after its release the plustek 7600i has been reviewed and tested. Here's a really extensive review:

If you consider buying the 7600i, be sure to go for the 7600i Ai version, which is bundled with SilverFast Ai Studio including a color target for IT8 calibration.
With the calibration, Multi-Exposure and iSRD (for removing scratches) you would be able to produce reasonable scans, especially considering the price. It's not the best device on the market, but an affordable one.

What about the new Reflecta Proscan 7200? looks interesting to me and is in the same price range..
