New problem with my R-D1 today

I was shooting and my selector know would physically turn but it would not do anything in the menu. I was in zoom mode and it wood not zoom. I had to give a slight downward pressure to make it zoom. Another problem is that when it zoomed it left the lower 1.3 of the lcd with a blueish tint. That is you were seeing the picture through a cyan like filter. Has anyone seen this before? I will try it again tomorrow.

I have never heard of anything like this before. Sounds like a poor contact problem of some sort?

Is there any chance you got some condensation in the camera from bringing into a warm area from the cold?
