new project beckons

Excellent portrait, the interaction with the subject and the look so different from the clean perfection we see daily make them great.

PS: and both your series are great!

The Polaroid A Day project continues ...

The PX-70 Silver Shade Cool film pack I used at the Pancake Breakfast had some issues, but I like what I got out of it anyway. 🙂

Thanks for looking! Comments appreciated.

Of course you know that standing people against a wall is cold and unimaginative.
However, your approach in making these pictures really enhances (and humanizes ?)
what normally would be boring unemotional snapshots, and makes them IMO very enjoyable.

Thank you, Dave ... I think you're complimenting me. ;-)

I like the clean simplicity of the wall backgrounds I've been using. It's the people the photos center around, not the surroundings.

I've continued to shoot on this "Polaroid A Day" theme. Usually just one or two exposures a day.

I've been working with the SX-70 and Spectra cameras up until now. A Polaroid Land 350 came my way. It was a little problematic getting it up and running with the Fuji films, had to remove the pressure spring and electronic timer to provide clearance for the Fuji film pack.

I'm glad I've got this camera working now. Aesthetically, the Spectra and SX-70 results fit together better, this camera with the Fuji color and black&white films produces its own charming qualities.
