I finally got myself a range finder after hunting down and missing a few good buys on Leica M4-P. I got fed up with trying to get a bargain and bought a new Bessa R3M, so far I'm loving it, am only 5 shots into a roll of Ilford Pan 400 that I'm playing around on till I put in some of the dearer film I have.

Here's a shot of the new camera and yes my camera strap is a shoelace...

Oh yeah the lens i grabbed used off ebay, was listed as being in ex condition and 3yo, only $100 cheaper than a new one but it looks and feels basically brand new, does have a spot or 2 of dust on the internal elements, but i dont think it will be an issue.

My only issues I think are going to come from finding a place to process the film, as in my area of Australia I dont think there are many if any options.

Madsens in Wollongong, Vanbar in Melbourne both can supply anything you'll need to do your own B&W development at home. Tanks, chemicals etc etc as well as film (but for film you'd be better off looking on Fleabay for what "Cheapshots" is offering from Adelaide). Another good contact might be Les Porter at Speers Point, which is a bit closer to you. He is very prompt and supplies many schools with equipment, film and chemicals.
Madsens tend to go for Ilford, Les goes for Fuji and Vanbar handle quite a range of stuff.
